Kiara Jack - Mar 20 - The Nimbin Hotel

Her latest release ‘Should Have Known’ captures the essence of Jack's alluring vocals which are always a highlight of her intense live shows. Deviating from previous material, Jack's latest release is a love song expressed as a mid-tempo soul piece.
Jack says the song was inspired by a dream, ‘I woke one morning and immediately penned the lyrics. It’s a tribute to reclaiming humanity by learning to love again. The song paraphrases a quote by the visionary artist and author Vivian Greene, ‘Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.’
Melding indie and spiritual evolution with a live sound that spans world music and contemporary genres, this multi-instrumentalist and singer-songstress brings you a fusion of Rock, Soul and Blues to illuminate even your wildest musical curiosities.
With the last couple of songs still being finished in the studio from the forthcoming EP release, and with broader touring plans in 2019 (to be announced), Kiara is receiving radio airplay across Queensland (4ZZZ Radio, Rabbit and Cocoon Radio, Noosa FM, Cairns FM), Melbourne, Sydney, Victoria (3WBC, 96.5 Inner FM, 106.7 Phoenix FM), and all over Western Australia (6EBA Multicultural Radio, Voice of the Avon 101.3 FM, Twin Cities FM, Boom Radio, Radio Fremantle, Pirate 88, Radio MAMA 100.5), New South Wales (Port Stephens 100.9, Vox FM, 2BACR FM, Nambucca Valley Radio, 2BBB FM, 2BOBFM, SWR FM, 2SER 107.3) and South Australia (5GTR FM Amrap Music Magazine).
There is an unsullied rawness to Jack's music, this is no fuss modern gypsy dance music. She has a distinct and likeable character which is present in this production. Kiara Jack is clearly a mystical mumma, but has her tongue firmly in her cheek. She leads the revelry but keeps it very real and grounded. In her own words, "It's the perfect time to come out and play" – Green Music Australia
