Jordy, Jonty and Finn. Self-centred, egotistical boy children.
Selfish Sons are a three-piece alternative rock band from Brisbane. Channeling the nostalgic sounds of 90's rock, these brothers have established themselves as eccentric entertainers with a powerful sound.
The rock outfit consists of brother Jordy and Finn who met Jonty in 2010 whilst attending school in Brisbane. Still in High School, they began writing songfs and playing shows around the area. The band is influenced by an eclectic mix of artists such as INXS, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Pearl Jam and The 1975.
2018 has been the loudest year that Selfish Sons have had so far. After selling out their 'Spyglass' single launch earlier in the year, the trio have continued from strength to strength, going on to take the support reigns for bands such as Twin Peaks during their national tour with Skeggs & as well as Ivey.
The band went on to continue the years highs with the release of their second debut single 'Broke' with a packed out show at The Triffid in Brisbane.
More recently, Selfish Sons released their debut EP 'Sixfour' and embarked on their first ever Australian tour, headlining a special run of one-off shows across cities such as Sydney, Wollongong & Gold Coast in early 2019, stopping at Port Macquarie & Newcastle along the way before tying it up with a special SOLD OUT homecoming show at The Foundry on Friday 18 January.
With much more to come and no sign of slowing down, Selfish Sons are an act to keep a very close eye on.
